Significant numbers of organisations are practicing inclusion as a routine event and are reaping the rewards. They are leaders in their field – not the diversity pitch, but the business stadia in which they play, and win. They aren’t just ticking a corporate social responsibility box or following a moral code, important as they may be. They are capturing the diverse talents of the wonderful population of Great Britain and becoming more competitive as a result.
For the first time ever, The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List will be merging with the Excellence in Diversity Awards to identify the best employers when it comes to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
CEO of The Inclusive Top 50, Paul Sesay has over 15 years worth of experience in the EDI sector and has a whole catalogue of diversity initiatives behind him including the groundbreaking BEAM Awards.
Paul has stated: “The partnership between the Excellence in Diversity Awards and Inclusive Top 50 will ensure a spectrum of inclusive employers are featured, shining a light on best practice in workforce diversity”.
Sesay continues “There is a crucial need to promote these practices and the organisations carrying out pioneering work in this field”.
Submissions opened on November 01st 2016, with a host of other categories including Outstanding Diversity Network, Employee of the Year, Marketing Campaign, Best Diversity Resource, Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Diversity Champion and Lifetime Achiever.
The unveiling of the list will take place at The Excellence in Diversity Awards ceremony, with high ranking organisations receiving the Inclusive Top 50 accolade; split into charity, education, housing, public and private sectors. Those featured will have to provide sufficient evidence of their inclusivity practices in areas such as recruitment procedures, training and a range of diversity-related initiatives.
